Choca-Mocca Smoothie Recipe

You don’t have to sit down to a meal of vegetables to gain some of their benefits.  This smoothie is the perfect start to the day but also contains some hidden vegetables to give you an antioxidant boost – it is also great for your skin with the addition of nutrient-rich blueberries.

  • 250ml dairy or plant-based milk
  • 2 tsp cacao or cocoa powder
  • ½ avocado
  • 40g baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tbsp blueberries
  • 1 shot of expresso, cooled


  1. Place all the ingredients into your liquidiser or nutribullet and blend until smooth. Add more milk if needed to get the consistency you desire.
  2. Serve chilled.
